MARTA mascots!

August 6, 2010

The Lindbergh Station has pets! Yesterday, as I waited on my train, I saw a tiny flicker of movement down by the tracks.  There are mice living in the rocks along the platform! There are little holes and little mice and I’m weird and think they’re adorable.  I love rodents.  In fact, I’m pig sitting for That’s MARTA this weekend.  And by pigs, I mean guineas.

So look closely at these photos and you’ll see my new tiny friends!

Note: This station is an open air station. Mice are a normal part of things outdoors. The presence of mice does not mean that MARTA is dirty, it means that they don’t coat the place in poison, which, in my opinion, is preferable.
