Us. Who are us? We are your MARTA prima blogarinas. There are a couple of main players in the MARTA Rocks! world, so here’s the breakdown, in case you were bored, or stalkers.
The two founding ladies of MARTA Rocks! are That’s MARTA! (Who’s moved on to other projects) and CCTGirl (who is still around), later joined by the Urban Commuter, TheATLPlanner and JoeyDeStAubin.
CCTGirl is no longer a transit novice but now a seasoned transit advocate who will lecture you on why you need to get on the bus, and used to regale you with the stupid stuff she does.
Urban Commuter is the newest Atlanta import who lives a car-light diet with his wife, and is the most well-written of all of us.

There are some folks who creep up from time to time in our posts and some former blog contributors, including:
That’s MARTA! a our car-free, scooter-driving, transit old-timer who used to try to do the news.
The Bus Nerd – belongs to That’s MARTA! He likes buses.
The Accidental Commuter a former grad student and MARTA rider who lectures on etiquette and the awesome things she sees on the train.
One – A train fanatic. So named because CCTgirl’s mom couldn’t keep him straight from Two.
Two – A car-free child of MARTA, and CCTgirl’s second main man.
TheATLPlanner is a City and Regional Planning Grad student at Georgia Tech who has lived in Downtown car-less for the past three years and still going strong!

MARTA is looking to start selling posters and maps at the ride stores, but that’s still in the process of being finalized. Hi MartaRocks bloggers, I enjoy your site! Just wanted to spread the word about the “I Heart My BreezeCard” competition that runs through tomorrow night at midnight. It’s put on by the company who makes the Breeze Cards and similar cards for other cities’ transit systems.

I won the Atlanta MARTA video competition and am now competing nationally against the winners from L.A., Miami, and Minneapolis. The video with the most YouTube “Likes” tomorrow night wins the national prize.

I would like to join your blog because some amazing things happens on my trips everyday on marta from the Southside to the Northside, Back TO West Atlanta to East Atlanta. I have ton of pics of marta buses and a vast knowledge of ever MARTA Bus/Train/Model/Fleet Numbers/Routes (Past And Existing), also with knowledge of a plethera of transit agencies/authorities. In other words, a transit geek.
